My name is Timothy Maki Sr, and I am the Lead Director of Actx Network. I’ve been married to Stefanie and have worked with her in ministry for over 35 years. We have two adult children, twins TJ and Isabel. I’ve been involved in evangelism, church ministries, and church multiplication for nearly 40 years.
In 2016, I transitioned out of my Lead Pastor role at North Star Church of Hibbing, Minnesota, and began Actx Network, a ministry that took what we started in the areas of evangelism, leadership development, and church multiplication to the next level.
A ministry network was a part of the initial vision the Lord gave us when we moved back to my home town to plant North Star Church. This vision is to multiply disciples, leaders, and churches wherever the Lord leads. Though we started small, with the collaboration with our ministry partners we have seen tremendous growth in many people becoming reproducing followers of Christ, new leaders being equipped for ministry, and churches being birthed with a Great Commission DNA.
Through Actx Network, we are anticipating the Lord of the Harvest to bring multitudes of people to faith and Christian growth. We invite you to partner with us in this multiplication movement.

Multiplication
No, it’s not misspelled; the “x” in Actx stands for multiply. Multiplication is at the heart of our ministry philosophy. The vision of Actx Network is to become an Acts 1:8 movement, multiplying the Great Commandment and the Great Commission. It is our call, passion, and focus to multiply disciples, leaders, and churches, and we desire to do this locally, nationally, and globally for the glory of God. While it is critical for any group to grow, the secret to developing a strong and sustained ministry is multiplication.
Why Actx Network?
Actx Network is great choice for those looking for support and accountability while maintaining the flexibility of a nondenominational ministry. We bring this help without suppressing our churches with “red tape” and restrictive organization. Like myriads of leaders in the past, we believe there are times for new works. Actx Network is a new work — a movement — that allows for versatility and growth in an environment of freedom, responsibility, and accountability.
Trifocal Vision
Like spiritual glasses, trifocal vision gives us clarity in all three spheres of sight which are needed to fulfill God’s plan. Near vision is needed for evaluating our life and ministries before a Holy God to maintain passion and traction. Intermediate vision is needed for ongoing evaluation to help implement steps and objectives toward achieving goals. Distant vision is God-given and God-glorifying, motivating and unifying the faithful toward vision completion. Trifocal Vision is one of Actx Network’s life and ministry tools to help guide you and your team into God’s preferred future.
Church Planting
A key component of the Actx Network vision is church planting. Church planting is one of the most effective forms of evangelism and is a necessary vehicle for the continued expansion of the good news and the fulfillment of Jesus’ commission to “go and make disciples.” In order to impact an area with the gospel, you need one biblical, life-giving church for every 1,000 urban residents and one for every 500 rural residents. Effective evangelism through church planting among under-evangelized people groups must be a priority for the church in our day.
Training & Education
Actx provides many unique educational services to those who would like to grow in their faith, increase their knowledge of the Word, or become more equipped for ministry. In addition to utilizing the tools available through our partner ministries, leaders within your church can become prepared for more effective and expanded ministry and leadership roles both inside and outside of the church through our educational partner, Pastoral Leadership Institute. We also periodically offer missions trips, providing meaningful opportunities for growth and engagement.
Marketplace Leadership
In addition to helping churches grow and equipping church leaders for more effective ministry, the Actx Network team is also passionate about helping businesses grow and developing leaders to become more effective in their workplace. Christians need to fill the spiritual vacuum in the business arena and cultivate a comprehensive Biblical worldview in this important area of influence. We believe that by empowering Christian leaders in the marketplace, we can help transform workplaces into environments where faith-inspired values drive lasting success and meaningful influence.
